Fleming Psychology strongly supports equitable access to mental health treatment, and aims to balance the needs of the community with the extensive training, specialist knowledge and expertise of our therapists.

 

Our Clinical Psychologists charge a standard fee of $265 ($225 for concession card holders) per 50 minute consult. 

Our Psychologists charges a standard fee of $210 per 50 minute consult ($170 for concession card holders).

Couples therapy costs $250 per 60 minute consult.

Lower income earners without a pension card may be eligible for a discounted standard fee. Please enquire for further information.

 

 

Patients referred by their GP under a Mental Health Treatment Plan may be able to access Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year  (see resources section for further information on the Mental Health Care Plan). GP’s will typically refer you for an initial 6 sessions, followed by a further 4 sessions as needed.

Clinical Psychologist rebates are $141.85 per 50+ minute consultation. Psychologist rebates are $96.65 per 50+ minute consultation.  Couples Therapy and Assessments are not eligible under Medicare for rebated services.

Patients referred for eating disorder management may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 40 sessions per calendar year.

Private Health Insurance rebates may also be available to you with each fund and level of cover offering different rebates. You cannot claim Medicare and Private Health – it is one or the other.

Formal assessments and report costs incur additional costs. If you require formal assessment or report, please discuss this with the admin team or at your appointment with the psychologist. Private Health and Medicare usually will not provide a rebate for assessments.

NDIS and the Insurance Commission of WA (covering Workers Compensation / Motor Vehicle Accident claims) have their own prescribed fees set by the respective agencies.

The number of sessions of sessions you will need depends on the reason you are attending, however after your first consultation your therapist will discuss with you approximate treatment length for your concerns and your goals.
