From April 1 2026, Fleming Psychology will be operated exclusively by Clinical Psychologist Jennifer Fleming as a sole-trader.
Appointments with Disha Raithatha can be organised through emailing her at dispsy@myyahoo.com
This shift allows Jen to work more intentionally and offer a deeply personalised, consistent space for the people she supports.
It also means she will be practising what she often talks about in the therapy room—protecting balance and sustainability in work. The "work-life balance" domain.
As a result, her books remain closed to new patients while she continues supporting her current long-term clients.

We offer a range of psychological services tailored to meet your unique needs. Whether you're facing stress, anxiety, complex mental health difficulties, or relationship challenges, we're here to support you every step of the way.

Jennifer is not currently accepting new patient referrals
Senior Clinical Psychologist and Practice Owner, Jennifer started Fleming Psychology in 2015 with a desire to bring psychological therapy to those who typically couldn't access it. She commenced in Girrawheen as an exclusively bulkbilling practitioner, inspired by the growth and change she saw in the wonderful humans who entered her rooms. As she became busier, she took on psychologists to join her and before she knew it, Fleming Psychology was a thriving practice.
In April 2026 Jennifer restructured Fleming Psychology to a sole-trader model - where she started out 10 years earlier. She advocates for work-life balance and being a mum and step mum to 6 kids, working 3 days per week as the senior clinical psychologist in a mental health inpatient unit, running a business, and spending time with her nearest and dearest became unbalanced... So in taking the advice she so often gives others, things needed to change. And so she changed them.
Running a practice - as a person of 1 or as a team of 6 - requires time, patience and money. Medicare rebates still remain
at less than 50% of the recommended Australian Psychology Society consultation fee of $320, and therefore bulkbilling is not something she can do and still meet business costs (think admin, rent, electricity, water, insurance, internet, workers compensation, registrations, CPD training, superannuation, GST....). However, Jennifer remains passionate about excellence in psychological therapy and keeping therapy accessible. Reduced fees are offered where she can.
Jennifer works with all mental health presentations and all age groups. She has a special interest in complex trauma and dissociative disorders, and offers clinical supervision to psychologists seeking to upskill in this area. She runs presentations and workshops on all things mental health - from emotional wellbeing, to managing difficult personalities, communications skills, understanding behaviours, and of course, self care. Contact Jen at Fleming Psychology for further information.
At Fleming Psychology, we offer a range of therapy options including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, and person-centred therapy, tailored to meet your individual needs. If you are seeking a specific type of therapy, please contact us about your needs
You can schedule an appointment by visiting our website and using the online booking system, finding us on Hotdoc.com.au or by calling our office directly on 08 6202 9560.
Yes, we do accept various insurance plans. We accept NDIS plan and self-managed clients, and offer services under the Insurance Commission of WA and CommCare with approved claims or therapy in place. Please contact our office to confirm if your insurance provider is accepted.
During your first session, your psychologist will get to know you and what has brought you to therapy. We do this in a relaxed, conversational style manner, asking questions about your situation, your background, what you have tried and what you are stuck with. The first session often feels the most anxiety provoking but most of our clients report feeling relieved and accomplished by having attended and have an idea of what therapy will look like for them moving forwards.
Yes, at Fleming Psychology, we utilise evidence-based treatment methods to ensure that our therapies are effective and grounded in scientific research. Whilst we recognise holistic and non-scientific practices can offer individuals relief from their symptoms, at Fleming Psychology we only provide therapy that is evidence-based.
Yes, we offer remote therapy sessions via secure video conferencing to ensure you can receive support from the comfort of your home.
